February 17 Hamradio software Professionaly I work for Belgiums biggest telecom-company, Belgacom. The headquarters are located in Brussels, which means I face a 2 hour traintrip every day. After watching all episodes of Lost, prison break and heroes I searched a way to spend my traveltime more hobby related. I downloaded the ARRL handbook and the antennahandbook to read broaden my knowledge. Another interesting program is websucker, don't mind the last 6 characters hihi. It's a program that allows you to grab websites and download them to your computer. I used it to download several hexbeam related websites and do some offline research. I want to complete the list with my favorite one, morserunner. It's the application to increase your CW speed and a must have if you want to enter the CW contest world. So far VP6 is not in the log, but I have another week to complete the task. Till next time, Frank, ON7RU February 13 Back in town Dear readers, you propably taught I was lost in space, but no worries, I'm back in town. The previous weeks I was really busy with sporting.
